We have had a very productive week here at Burnhouse, the Bothy is nearing completion just in time for the dreich autumn weather. The team has been working hard to create the perfect escape for anglers from the cold harsh weather ahead and I am sure you will all be amazed and appreciate the transformation.

We have had a few challenging days of flat calms and varying temperatures; however, there is now a chill in the air, a welcome chill which seen the fishing improve towards the end of the week.

FISH OF THE WEEK- This week top spot goes to GORDON FERGUSON who netted a hefty 15lb rainbow! One of 3 big fish that he safely returned to the water! Well done Gordon that’s a mighty big fish!

Other successful flies were the yellow dancer, olive damsel, daiwl Bachs, black cdc emerger, fab, green & black zonker, clan chief, gold head black spider, greenwells spider, black & green marabou lure, the daddy, kingfisher butcher, cinnamon & gold and a black pennell.
