Well this week it rained and blew a hoolie just for a change, but for those anglers who braved the elements the lochan did give some good results, Eddie Hunt (Cumbernauld)had two fish for 4lb 12oz using Sun Burst Blob and a Montana Nymph.... Well this week it rained and blew a hoolie just for a change, but for those anglers who braved the elements the lochan did give some good results, Eddie Hunt (Cumbernauld)had two fish for 4lb 12oz using Sun Burst Blob and a Montana Nymph, Kenny Martin (Coatbridge) had 1 for 2lb 8oz on a Mini Damsel, Mick Quinn (Motherwell) had 1 for 2lb 2oz, Richard Taylor (Brightons) had 8 on c/r ticket on a barbless Mini Cats Whisker and a Grizzlecat, Archie McLaren (Banton) had two on c/r on a barbless Yellow,Dancer, Jim McAlum (Falkirk) had 1 on a Bibio, Jim Ivatt (Alloa) had two for 6lb on a Silver Humungus, Allan Smith (Cumbernauld) had two on his self-tied Silver Bug. It was good to see the Rubber Ear Club (Wishaw) who booked with us on Saturday, poor guys could not have picked a worse day it was horrible horizontal driving wind and rain however, they got some fish despite being very hard going. Paul McOnville had two for 4lb 5oz on Orange,Dancer, Brian Anderson had two 1 for 3lb 3oz on Hot,Head,Damsel, John McOnville Jnr had 2 for 5lb 6oz on a Gold,Humungus, Ryan McAbehad two for 5lb 5oz on a Damsel, well done considering the conditions!  We are open 7 days a week, tea & coffee is complimentary and the water is well stocked with high quality fully finned Rainbow Trout.
